Jan 13, 2020News

We’re happy to kick off 2020 with the announcement that Cédric Foellmi has joined eBikeLabs team as the Chief Technology Officer.

Cédric will lead our team of dedicated engineers, and he will be responsible for outlining technological implementation strategies that align with eBikeLabs expansion objectives.

Our former CTO Pierre-Louis Jourdan has moved to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) position and is now responsible for the strategic eBikeLabs product direction. He will oversee product vision, design, development, and product marketing.

“We are extremely happy that Cédric has hopped on the ride with our growing and dynamic team! His remarkable skills, professional and personal experience are very valuable to our team and the company. Warmest welcome!” – Mael Bosson, CEO & Founder.

Cédric Foellmi’s personal and professional experience is nothing short of fascinating. He is a former astrophysicist with a large international experience, and he now helps startups and companies to industrialize their software. Cédric has been in charge of startup operations for 2 years, where the company evolved from 0 to 16 engineers (25 people in total) in 18 months. He has also developed apps and services for professional astronomers for more than 10 years now.

“I am very happy to have joined eBikeLabs, for a perfectly-named ride in a fantastic subject. Cities are clearly the main places for a sustainable future, and inside cities, smart electric bicycles are the best way to enhance the lives of many. Even better under clear skies, day and night, of course!”

In his free time Cédric enjoys coding, reading, trekking, snowboarding, and following the progress of his two boys in their rugby teams.

Welcome aboard, Cédric! We are looking forward to implementing his visionary ideas to help eBikeLabs achieve ambitious expansion goals.
